What information we collect
When you submit an enquiry form on this website, we ask for:
- Your full name (required)
- Your WhatsApp number (required)
- The course or internship you are interested in (required)
- Your email address, qualification, preferred batch and preferred mode, where the form asks for them (optional)
- Any message you choose to write (optional)
- Your confirmation that you consent to be contacted (required)
We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or any other sensitive information through this website.
Our web server also keeps standard access logs, which may include your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. These are created automatically by the hosting server and are used for security and troubleshooting.
If you leave a comment on a blog post, we store the name, email address and comment text you submit, along with your IP address and browser user agent, to help detect spam.
How we use your information
We use the details you give us to:
- reply to your enquiry and answer questions about courses, fees, batches and internships
- contact you on WhatsApp, by phone or by email about the program you asked about
- keep a record of enquiries so our team can follow up properly
- improve the information we publish about our courses
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Enquiries sent through WhatsApp
Our enquiry forms and buttons are built to continue the conversation on WhatsApp. When you submit an enquiry, a copy is saved in our website database and emailed to our team, and WhatsApp then opens with a ready-to-send message containing the details you entered. Nothing is sent on WhatsApp until you press send yourself.
Once a message is sent through WhatsApp, it is also handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under their own privacy policy, which we do not control.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
WordPress, the software this site runs on, sets cookies in two situations: if you leave a blog comment and choose to save your details for next time, and if you log in to the site as a staff member. If you only browse the site and send an enquiry, no cookies are required.
Other services this website uses
Some parts of this site load content from other companies. When that happens your browser contacts them directly, and they may see your IP address:
- Font Awesome icons, delivered through the Cloudflare cdnjs network
- The Leaflet map library, delivered through the unpkg network
- Map tiles from OpenStreetMap, shown in our contact section
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), when you use a chat, enquiry or apply button
- Google Maps, if you click “Get Directions”
We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any similar tracking tool on this website.
Who we share your information with
Enquiry details are shared only with the Learns-Way team members who handle admissions and course guidance. We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We may disclose information if we are required to do so by law, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, safety or property.
How long we keep your information
Enquiries are stored in our website database so that our team can follow up. We keep them for as long as they are useful for admissions follow-up and our own records, and remove them once they are no longer needed. If you ask us to delete your enquiry, we will remove it.
Blog comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so that follow-up comments can be recognised and approved automatically instead of being held in a moderation queue.
How we protect your information
Access to the website administration area is limited to staff accounts protected by passwords. Enquiry records are stored as private entries that are not visible to website visitors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take reasonable care we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your enquiry and the details in it
- stop contacting you about our courses
To make any of these requests, message or email us using the details in “Who we are” above. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, usually by replying from the WhatsApp number or email address you originally used.
Children’s privacy
Our courses are intended for students and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete the record.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our courses and website change. The “last updated” date shown at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised, so please check back from time to time.
